Times, two maps, and a Guide

It is Sunday, right? I sure hope so, because we have two more Letters to the Editor for you to read. If it's not, let's pretend it is ;)

Also today are a couple guide/map updates and releases.

First, we have two new maps for you! If you have completed the Cabin Fever quest, check out the Mos Le'Harmless Caves. While your in that area, why not check out Harmony Island as well?

Finally, if you are interested, check out the Random Events guide and look for the new random even that is sure you haven't been studying, and is going to quiz you in your journeys.

Map update, Monday Poll, and a Calculator

As always, we are trying to make your runecape experience the best it can be. Today, you can help us decide how to link our dungeon maps and bestiary together. We have two different ideas how it can be done. First, we can list the monsters that appear in the dungeons with links to each one. This method can be seen in the following dungeons. Brimhaven Dungeon, Slayer Dungeon, and the Waterfall Dungeon. The other method allows you to click in the map itself and load the page, the same way the world map has links to quests. The maps that do this are the following. Members' Dungeon, Varrock Sewer, and theEdgeville Mine. After you look at the pages, please vote in the poll, and join the discussion on the forum.

In other news, there's yet another calculator/planner update. The agility calculator and planner have been updated to include the experience you get from fishing barbarian style!

Hot topic and Guide Update

Have you spent the last few weeks camped out in one spot trying to reach a goal? Do you recognize 70% of every person that walks by because you have been there so long? If so, don't burn yourself out! When you realize that you are insanely bored, try a fun little game called "Killing Green Dragon Autoers." Not only do you help keep the macro population down, but you also get a bundle of dragonhides and have a lot of fun while doing it.

Also, we have updated the thieving guide. We have new animations for the the thievable NPCs and information about the NPCs in the Tower of Life.

Barbarians, Slayers and Times

This week, we have another two Letters to the Editor for your reading pleasure. One is a counter-argument to the recent guest article by Errdoth, and the other is a plea regarding bots.

Once again, we have a couple of barbaric updates for you. The fishing guide has been updated to include the new forms of fishing. Our fishing calulator and planner also include the new information. So, grab your.... hands? and get yourself some tunas!

Also, the slayer guide was nicely reworked. Missing slayer assignments and slayer monsters were added in as well as fixing a few of the pictures of equipment and the dark beast. Finally, item database links to special slayer drops were added as well as the cape of achievement.

runecape Login Server Down

There is a currently a problem with the runecape Login Server which is preventing users from logging into the game.

Andrew Gower has posted the following on our forum due to the inability to access his news posting service because of the outage.



"Our core hosting facility has lost it's internet connection. We are (urgently!) talking to the ISP now.

When this sort of thing happens it's normally because a router somewhere has died, so hopefully it won't take them too long to fix, but since it's a fault with a 3rd party system, now we've let them know all we can do is wait (and keep nagging them every 10 mins, heheh)

Please be patient, and we're sorry for the inconvenience."

Also , due to this outage , our forum is getting hammered with traffic so expect delays in page loading.
